The idea of the (black) gold and silver corals is that they change: during wearing them, slowly the precious inside is revealed. A reward for the patient possessor. The ends of the coral paws slowly change into gold or silver. The dots that arise, add depth to the coral structure. Doing so, you as a wearer have a dialogue with the piece: you act, the piece acts back, since it changes. Maybe the wearer acts different knowing actions leave traces? The authorship is extended from me, the maker, to the wearer, and in a certain way also to the jewel.
