She was born and raised in Switzerland, in Vezio, where her small workshop is located. There she creates jewelry on commission. She makes experiments, plays, works and cultivates her great passion. She graduated as a jewelry designer in Milan and then attended a fire enameling course.

 

- When did you start dedicating yourself to the world of contemporary jewelry?

It was a path. I graduated as a jewelry designer and this profession was a real discovery for me. I have always loved manual activities, having "hands in dough". Attending Art High School I then learned to use creativity with method, research and not just as a vent, as well as being passionate about the world of design. In this job I found a union of interests. Thanks to my studies as a jewelry designer, I could really discover the contemporary jewel and not only. A world has opened up to me and with curiosity I dedicate myself every day to cultivating this great passion.

 

 

- What do you draw most inspiration from when you start creating a new collection?

By all. Each collection or unique piece has different stories. Inspiration can start from a texture, a word, a fragrance, a feeling. They can be even more things together. As far as I'm concerned, the design path always has a good deal of confusion at first. But I think that research is just that. Through the sketches or physical tests I begin to rearrange the ideas, sometimes I find the right way and everything is born with spontaneity, other times instead more attempts are needed. Bankruptcy is also part of this job as far as I am concerned, I am convinced that creativity is made up of mixed feelings. This is why it's a job where you're never bored.

 

 

- What kind of work or material do you prefer?

I love working with the lost wax casting technique. I usually work with silver, gold, bronze and brass for metals, and I am extremely fascinated by all the stones. From raw minerals to multifaceted and poluted gems.

 

- Would you recommend to other artists to take part in Artistar Jewels?

Certainly yes, it is a great opportunity to make people know their work and to compare themselves with artists from all over the world. A way to discover and discover yourself.
