Master of art, he graduated in gemology and in applied arts. Since 1983 he has participated in design, sculpture and engraving-chisel competitions. He then became interested in other materials and the use of new techniques. He also collaborated as artistic director for various companies and in 1991 founded Extreme Jewels.
-What is the name of your brand and what is the meaning it has?
The name of my brand is EXTREME GIOIELLI. Sometimes extreme, often without limits in the choice of precious stones or minerals, fossils, pearls and everything that nature o ff ers to combine the creation of jewelry with the various stones or crystals found in nature.
-Where do you get your inspiration when you start creating a new collection?
It is a difficult feeling to explain, it is created by choosing and searching for particular gems. A harmony is created around a gem and it is all a becoming. The most whimsical and particular creations are born without project or drawings, but directly with metal, it is a discourse among friends. For other creations instead they are the result of studies and geometries, to dose all elements. And create a stable or unstable balance between them.
-What kind of material or technique do you prefer to use?
The materials range from the most precious to those that no one would think of giving soul. Gold, Silver, Platinum, Copper, Natural Stones, Precious and Non-Precious.. Fantasy for shapes, colors or sizes. Then working techniques both classic and research, to range over years between work experiences.
-Three words with which you would describe the artistar jewels project.

-Have you been fascinated by a particular creation that you saw in the edition of artistar jewels 2019?
Each year, the theme of the event brings artists to explore with new materials, techniques and advanced concepts. In general the keyword was creativity and imagination. I love experimentation but with real bases of portability.
-What were the opportunities that led you to participate in the event?
Participate as an artist (that big word) that comes from "Dietro le Quinte". Before I always gave my ideas for collections and realizations of collections or unique pieces of other brands. In recent years I have sought the opportunity for visibility through new channels that are not exclusively linked to the jewelery sector (a little plastered the sector). Being ARTISTAR an event that takes place in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week and all the events was perfect for me. The organization and attention to detail have always been excellent as is the property and the staff is: FANTASTIC!
-What do you think of the new progeeto milano jewelry week? Do you think Milan needed this appointment?
IT IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA and it will surely be a success like fashion even jewels deserve beings brought to the "LIGHT" in a general look in the foreground in the LUXURY FASHION AND FASHION sector but it is already a process in progress for some time.
