MAISSA was created by Giulia Ber Tacchini, an Italian fashion designer specialized in luxury accessories and innovative material research. She designed handbags, jewelry and eyewear for many famous brands like Dior, Prada, and Chloè. Since the beginning of her carrier she has always been passionale about the heritage of craftsmanship, utilizing the most traditional and precious tecniques. At the same time she always explored new materials and applications combining them with the work of the artisans. Recently she focused on the creation of highly contemporary accessories in the field of sustainable fashion. On November 2016 she launched MAISSA, her handbags and jewelry brand, based on the combination of high quality Italian craftsmanship and 3D printing, ethic and sustainable technology, which sets no limits to creativity and customization. Her style merges different inspirations: primitive art and emoticon language, pop icons and elements from nature. A new aesthetic vision in MAISSA jewelry and bags is expressed through the language of the parametric design, creating pieces that are really unique. The brand was finalist at Vogue Talents_Who is  On Next in 2018. She lives and works between Florence and Milan.
