She was born in Hamburg in 1971. After finishing school she completed an internship at Hagen goldsmith in Hamburg. For 3 years she studied Visual Communications at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg, proceeded to jewelry design at the IED in Milan and completed her studies in 1999. Since 2000 she has been working in her own atelier in Hamburg. She has been a member of the AdK Hamburg since 2004.
